Content Guidelines

Last updated: July 2026

This page describes the kind of content found on ReadersGet, how it's reviewed, and who the platform is intended for — so readers, authors, and app store reviewers have a clear, honest picture.

Who ReadersGet Is For

ReadersGet is a general-audience digital publishing and reading platform. It's built for readers, authors, publishers, creators, and affiliates — primarily students, professionals, researchers, and general readers interested in books, journalism, and current affairs across Africa.

What Kind of Content Appears

ReadersGet does not host pornographic, graphically violent, or hate-based content, and does not permit content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or harassment.

Content Moderation

Age Guidance

ReadersGet is intended for a general audience, broadly comparable to a news and publishing platform. Because journalism and political/security content can touch on serious real-world subjects, we'd suggest a rating along the lines of Teen / Parental Guidance rather than "Everyone," pending the platform's own review through Google Play's official content rating questionnaire — that formal rating can only be assigned by Google's own process, not asserted here.

Reporting a Concern

If you come across content that concerns you, you can report it directly within the app, or contact us at sales@readersget.com.

This page is a plain-language description of ReadersGet's actual content and moderation practices, intended to support transparency and app store review. It is not a substitute for Google Play's own official content rating questionnaire, which must still be completed directly in Play Console during app submission.
